It was a warm humid night at the Slab. We had a thunderstorm roll through right as we were setting up that blew some water on the shutdown area. So getting that dried up set us back an hour.

We started the night off with our Dial-in Jackpot which saw Matthew run 0.012 off his dial for the win.

The RBA Racing / H2O Leak Detection and Pool Repair 2.90 Index class is always popular with 31 entries this night. The Finals came down to Johnny and Jonathan. Jonathan’s 2.918 et after a 0.006 reaction time, would be good for the win. Jonathan extended his points lead to 9.

The RBA Racing Open Bracket class saw some new drivers and old familiar faces make up the 24 entry field. Rick would defeat Travis in the finals on the winner’s side, then got him again on the loser’s side of the bracket to sweep the class, parking two of his entries in the winner’s circle for a 1-2 finish. Rick extended his points lead to 17.

Super Stock started with a twist. Multiple drivers requested moving to an instant green start versus our normal 400 pro tree. A vote at the tech table before first round was unanimous. The finals would find teammates Robert and Johnny side by side. Johnny knew he’d need a great light to have a chance for the win so he guessed and went -0.090 red to hand the win to Robert. Jimmie extended his points lead to 2.

The hot new RBA Racing / H2O Leak Detection 2.50 Index class had 10 entries. Robert has been dominating this class, but the competition is closing in. He made a couple of missteps throughout he night, but still found a way to get the win over Mike in the finals. Robert extended his points lead to 4.
