Race 12 of our 2025 Points Series was a good time! The program ran pretty smooth with no major hiccups.
The Pensacola Pool Services Dialin Jackpot had 5 entries. Everyone was a little off, but Johnny was the closest of the one over passes to take the quick payout. That wouldn’t be the last time he got in a photo!
The H2O Leak Detection and Pool Repair & RBA Racing 2.90 Index class had 11 entries. The points leader Travis’ used his last drop race, so it was an opportunity to make up some ground. Second place in points Rick would go down first round to Dewayne, so he wouldn’t be gaining any ground. Third place in points Jonathan would make his way to the finals to meet Johnny. Jonathan would go -0.0012 red to hand Johnny the easy win.
The Open Bracket class sponsored by Emerald Coast Water Heaters & Emerald Coast Custom Rentals had 11 entries. JR was on a war path. He took out second place in points Jonathan second round, then the points leader Caitlin in third round, then fourth place in points Rick fourth round. He then met Caitlin again in the finals after she had battled through the losers bracket. JR ran dead on the dial with a three to seal the deal and hold the plaque high.
Our bonus class was 2.50 index. There’s wasn’t a ton of interest though. Johnny and Rick battled for a plaque. Rick’s rocket ship ended up in Johnny’s lane round one. Then in the finals (first attempt) Johnny’s body flew off but didn’t hit anything. Rick completed his pass to break out. Neither was happy with the outcome so they decided to rerun. This time Rick would slap the wall giving Johnny the win.
In a shocking turn of events Wambo would be awarded no points
