Race 8 of our 2025 Points Series got off to a slow start as we had to remove some standing water from the previous night’s thunderstorms.

The Pensacola Pool Services Dialin Jackpot had 7 entries. David took the early lead running 0.0121 off his dial. He was overtaken by Jonathan going 0.0108 off his dial. David took one final shot barely missing, running 0.0109 off his dial.

The H2O Leak Detection and Pool Repair & RBA Racing 2.90 Index class had 11 entries. Dewayne made his way through the top of the ladder as David worked his way through the bottom. The finals saw a double breakout with David breaking out less to take the win.

The Open Bracket class sponsored by Emerald Coast Water Heaters & Emerald Coast Custom Rentals had 8 entries. Brandon won out on the winners side beating Dewayne. Jonathan won out on the losers side over JR. Jonathan needed to beat Brandon twice to lock up the victory. Jonathan took both races on holeshots, with Brandon running closer to the dial on both.

Finally, our bonus class was 2.60. We had 8 entries. Johnny and Robert went to the finals where we saw an awesome race. Both drivers got off the line with good reactions of 0.0165 and 0.0145, but Robert’s 2.6332 wan’t quite good enough to beat Johnny’s 2.6109.
